collaborative effort committed to reducing
homelessness in Saratoga County, NY, by increasing
the level and coordination of housing and support
services so that the cycle of homelessness
is not perpetuated.

officials, Saratoga County, NY, community leaders,
directors of not-for-profit organizations, housing
developers, service provider directors, business
leaders, neighborhood groups, foundations, faith-based
organizations, interested persons, and formerly
homeless persons.

The
Alliance was created in 2001 with technical assistance
from the New York State Rural Housing Coalition.
To
date (2011) total funds this program has brought into Saratoga
Springs and Saratoga County are $3.7million. Click

Springs Public Library, at 49 Henry Street, Saratoga
Springs, NY. Feel free to attend our next meeting.
Yearly
membership is $100 to help defray costs of paper, postage,
flyers, mailings, brochures, advertisement, website.Click

Our Purpose:
To facilitate the coordination of existing services,
thereby reducing interagency competition and fostering
the creation of a seamless housing services system.
To conduct an ongoing assessment of the needs of
housing individuals and families throughout Saratoga
County.
To develop additional resources for housing and services.
To encourage information sharing.
To increase community awareness of issues related
to homelessness and low-income housing issues.
To provide a structure and support for the development
of the annual HUD Continuum of Care funding application.
To participate in the City of Saratoga Springs' consolidated
planning process.
To collaboratively address the needs of homeless
populations in Saratoga, Warren, Washington, and
Hamilton Counties.
